                                                                          2026 APFNet Scholarship for Master’s Programs

Northwest A&F University (NWAFU) welcomes outstanding applicants from APFNet member economies and Greater Central Asian countries to apply for fully funded Master’s programs under the APFNet Scholarship. This program provides international students with the opportunity to pursue advanced studies in forestry, environmental science, and related disciplines while experiencing China’s rich academic and cultural environment.

I. Application Deadline: 

May 31, 2026 (no late applications will be accepted)

II. Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

1.Nationality: Be a non-Chinese citizen from one of the following regions:

 APFNet Member Economies: Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Mexico, Fiji Islands, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Papua New Guinea, Thailand, Peru, the Philippines, Viet Nam

Greater Central Asia: Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan

2.Age: Between 18 and 40 years

3.Academic Qualification: Holder of a Bachelor’s degree

4.Work Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience preferred (not mandatory)

5.English Proficiency: Valid IELTS or TOEFL scores are required, as all courses are taught in English

6.Recommendation Letter: From an APFNet Council representative or contact person

7.Gender Preference: Female applicants are strongly encouraged to apply

8. Chinese Language Requirement: HSK Level 3 must be attained before graduation.

III. Scholarship Benefits

Monthly stipend: 3,000 yuan

Accommodation: Twin room in on-campus dormitory.

Outpatient medical service fee: One-time annual payment of CNY yuan.

Airfare: One round-trip international ticket (economy class).

Tuition: Full waiver.

Note: Duration of study is 2 years, and the program will start in September 2026.

IV. Required Application Materials

All documents must be in English or Chinese. If not, notarized translations are required.

1.Two application forms (downloadable from the online application platform)

2.Acceptance Letter from a Potential Supervisor (mandatory)

3.Notarized degree certificate (or provisional certificate) and Bachelor’s diploma

4.Academic transcripts (notarized)

5.Two recommendation letters

6.Study plan (minimum 800 words)

7.Passport copy (valid for at least 9 months)

8.Police Clearance Certificate (valid 6 months)

9.Medical Examination Form

10.Supporting documents (CV, publications, awards, if available)

Important Note: Only digital applications (combined into one PDF) will be accepted. Do not submit separate files or physical copies.

V. Application Procedure

Step 1: Get supervisor’s Acceptance Letter

Contact a potential supervisor (following the guidelines in Section 4) and secure a signed Acceptance Letter.

Step 2: Complete Online Application

1.Access the NWAFU international student application platform: https://nwsuaf.17gz.org

2. Select the application path: Northwest A&F University Scholarship → Master → APFNet

3. Fill in all required information and upload materials as required.

Step 3: Submit Application Documents (in PDF via email)
