Chinese Government Scholarship (Type A) 2026

I. Program Overview

The Bilateral Program offers full or partial scholarships based on educational exchange agreements or mutual understandings between the Chinese government and governments, institutions, universities, or international organizations of other countries.

It supports undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students, as well as general and senior scholars. Applicants must apply through the dispatching authorities for overseas study in their home country.

This scholarship is categorized as Type A under the China Scholarship Council (CSC) system.

II. Application Procedure

Where to Apply

1.Submit your application to the dispatching authorities in your home country (e.g., the Chinese Embassy or Consulate).

2.Choose Northwest A&F University as your preferred university.

Note: Northwest A&F University does NOT directly accept applications for this program.

When to Apply

The general application period is from January to early April. Please consult your local dispatching authorities for the exact deadline.
