Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) & Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) Acupuncture
1. Program Introduction
The 2026 NWAFU International Summer School “TCM & TCVM Acupuncture Program” is open to undergraduate and master's students worldwide. Through systematic coursework, clinical practice, and cultural immersion, the program aims to help participants gain a deep understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM)—medical systems with a history of more than 3,000 years.
The classes will be held in Xi’an and Yangling. Through lectures, case studies, hands-on acupuncture practice, clinical observation, and cultural visits, students will gain both academic knowledge and practical skills, along with meaningful cultural experience.2.
Program Highlights

3. Program Schedule
Week 1: Theoretical courses + clinical case observation
Week 2: Acupuncture practice + clinical case observation
Weekend cultural visits: Terracotta Warriors, Ancient City Wall, Muslim Quarter in Xi’an.
4. Eligibility
Open to undergraduate and master’s students. Recommended majors include: Veterinary Medicine, Medicine, Biology, Agriculture, Animal Science, and Health Science.
5. Fees & Dates
Tuition: 4,200 yuan or 600 USD
Other Fees: Accommodation, meals, and local transportation are at the participant’s own expense.
